My Book Chapter: Raids & Settlements: Seamus Heaney as translator
Today at the Irish Embassy at the launch of the book about Seamus Heaney, an Irish poet, translator and Nobel laureate – Raids & Settlements: Seamus Heaney as translator. I co-authored a chapter on Heaney and Russia with my husband Ambassador (retired) Stuart Prior.
Fantastic night, a kaleidoscope of languages and cultures, beautiful people, wonderful live music and tasty food.
